Stadiwm y Mileniwm
Every event in Wales’ Principality Stadium are spine-tingily good!
The stadium is a 74,500-capacity all-seater venue, with great facilities and an even better atmosphere. If you’re lucky enough to have match day tickets, you will have a day you won’t forget…unless your team doesn’t win, in which case you might want to forget.
Featuring a weather shielding retractable roof, which not only shuts out the elements, it traps the crowd noise better than any stadium in the UK. When the Welsh international rugby team take to the pitch, the noise is intense and the renditions of “Hen Wlad Fy Nhadau”, the Welsh National Anthem, are as loud as any dragon’s roar.
All supporters will be full of passion no matter who attends. The stadium is very family friendly too! Located right in the centre of Cardiff, it’s easy to reach. When it comes time to leave, the multiple exits mean the crowd gets away quickly and organised, allowing fans to watch all the drama right up until the final whistle the need to beat the scrum for the exits.
For fans that enjoy adult beverages, the stadium bars can confidently proclaim that “12 pints can be served in under a minute”, which is handy went you don’t want to miss any of the action.
One of the best stadiums in the UK, the Principality Stadium is a must-visit!
A visit to the proud Principality Stadium is a treat even on days without a big match. Lifelong rugby fans will be enthralled throughout the tour no matter where you’re alliance lies.
The guides are passionate, informative and entertaining, with plenty of anecdotes of life behind the scenes. The tour itself is relatively inexpensive. The chance to see the parts of the stadium reserved only for the star players, coaches and even the Royal Family is more than worthwhile.
Imagine stepping out onto the pitch from the players tunnel, sit in the coaches booth, experience the anticipation inside the players’ changing rooms and sit on the special seat used exclusively by the Queen.
